2009 WSOP Main Event Moves On To The Final Table
17th July, 2009
The 2009 World Series of Poker has final drawn to a close with only the main event final table still to be played on November 7th -10th.
In contrasts to the beginning of the WSOP main event, where players were relaxed and laughing in a friendly atmosphere, the final day was very tense. Laughing and light banter was replaced with stone faces and sun glass covered eyes.
Poker fans will be happy to see Poker Pro Phil Ivey has made it to the November nine, although he will have a difficult task going into the final table with just $9,765,000.
Surprise Chip Leader however is Maryland Logger, Darvin Moon, who moves onto the final table with $58,930,000. He eliminated Billy Koop as play came down to two tables, wining a $45,000,000 pot.
