6 Days until the Cheltenham Festival

Sporting fans, especially the horse racing public, will be brimming with excitement as the Cheltenham Festival draws ever closer.
The four day event is now only 6 days away. More than 65,000 racing fans, the majority of which will come from Ireland, are expected to descend on Prestbury Park.
With Millions of pounds won and lost during the festival, online bookmakers are ‘licking their lips’ with anticipation. Regarded as the best horse racing festivals in the world, punters will be placing bets right until the gates open.
With 26 festival races, there will be plenty of action to keep spectators entertained. This year, choosing between horses has been no easy task since so many are on top form. The red hot favourite to win however, is ‘Master Minded’, which has odds of 1/3 to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase for the second year running.
One of the most eagerly awaited races at the festival is Ryan Air Chase on day 3. Many expect ‘Voy Por Ustedes’ to win with odds of 6-4.
Champion Trainer, Paul Nicholls, will be happy to see that for the second year running, three of his horses are said to be favourites to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup. ‘Kauto Star’ is resounding favourite, with stable mates ‘Neptune Collonges’ and ‘Denman’ close behind.
It is perhaps no surprise, therefore, that Paul Nicholls is a strong favourite to be the top trainer in the festival .
