888 Profits soar in Q3

Despite withdrawing from the USA under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, the number of active customers playing casino and poker has risen by 17% to over 200,000. In all 888.com have over 4 million real money accounts producing revenues of $47.5 million just in casino and poker. In total revenues are $52.2 million, so casino and poker make up the bulk of this revenue.
Bingo and backgammon have continued to grow massively as more and more people get on line. With downloads available in 14 languages.
Quarter three is typically slow, so bosses were very pleased. Quarter 4 is already showing to be better with revenues up 11% already.
