888.com Gets Yet Another Partner

16th May, 2008

888.com has reported the completion of a partnership deal with Electracade yesterday. One of the leading online poker and casino operator seems clear about the strategical objective of multiple partnerships, as this is the third deal in just one month.

Electrocade is the UK online gaming content provider, which is responsible for enhancing 100 different games. The games range varies from sport betting and casino scratch cards to online bingo games. The partnership completed now allows 888.com to provide their users with all these additional games.

“As part of the continued execution of our strategy to select 'best-of-breed' partners to provide us with additional games I am delighted that this agreement enables us to access Electracade's soft and instant games portfolio, which is complementary to our existing internally developed gaming portfolio,” stated CEO at 888.com, Gigi Levy.

888.com seems to be have adopted a very aggressive strategy since the gambling market showed major changes that affected gaming operators, such as smoking ban and new gambling laws.

The operator started looking into new opportunities and market gaps. At the end of last year they signed a deal with US internal flight companies to provide plane passengers flying within the US with their online gambling services. This has created a very safe and secure position in a new market that is extremely inaccessible now, the US has bordered itself off from international gaming providers.

888.com has also launched an online bingo site, 888.Ladies earlier this year and has just recently finished deals with their other gaming providers: Cryptologic and Gaming Technology Solutions.

Electracade is now replacing the two. All these changes show that 888.com is intending to keep its strong position in online gaming market and use industry changes to its advantage by creating a strong, innovative and unique positioning.
