888's Second Online Gambling Deal In A Month

Online gaming company 888 has come into the limelight again after its second deal in a month.

888’s B2B division, Dragonfish, has signed a joint venture with Tsogo Sun Gaming Group, of South Africa, which will help the brand expand into online gaming.

888 have commented that the deal is the first of many proposed partnerships in regulated markets. The deal follows the news that 888 and US casino Harrah’s will work in conjunction to expand into the UK market.

Senior trader at Accendo markets commented: “We have noted the consistent progress at 888's B2B division Dragonfish in sealing affiliate deals and generally expanding the reach for the company as a whole.”

Gabi Campos, managing director of Dragonfish said of the partnership, "This partnership is the first of many targeted at regulated markets, where Dragonfish's partners operate under local licenses and enjoy the benefits of such regulatory arrangement"

In 27th August’s half year report of 888, it was reported that there was a 42% year on year growth for Dragonfish which provided insight into their strategies going forward. 888 is well placed to capitalize on the growth of online gambling.
