Antigua added to the UK Whitelist
17th November, 2008
The small Caribbean island of Antigua has been recently added to the UK white list and will now be a base for online bingo operators. The news comes after the small tropical island demonstrated that it could regulate gambling and would be suitable to provide bingo advertisements to a UK market.
Inclusion in the white list means that Antigua will be licensed to provide marketing and gambling services to a UK company.
The online gambling market in the UK is huge offering products such as online poker, bingo, casino and betting. Antigua will only benefit from this news as the inclusion will create jobs and increase the countries economic output.
The numbers of UK Online Bingo sites has increased over recent years to over 300 many of which are attracting hundreds of new players everyday. Sites such as Foxy, Gala and Love Bingo have already released TV advertisements promoting their sites as competition continues to create a tough market.
Antigua will officially be added to the UK white list on the 21st November.
