Antigua goes head to head with US over online gaming.

Antigua blames the USA for crippling its gambling industry by preventing US citizens from gambling online.

In response to the loss of revenue. Antigua, which is a tiny island with a population of only 70,000 people has applied to the World Trade Organisation for over $3 billion in sanctions.

Although the main reason for the conference on the Caribbean island is to promote trade between the US and the Caribbean, it appears that there will be a side show when a private meeting takes place between Antigua's finance minister Errol Cort and the members of Congress attending the conference.

Beginning today and ending on the 11th November, the conference will take place at Sandals Grande Antigua.
