Asian Poker tour to last for 12 days

Macau is situated on the South West coast of China and is seen by many and the Gambling capital in Asia. Macau is the Vegas of the East offering visitors super casino's, and luxury hotels.
The Asian Poker tour is usually held in Macau and last's for 6 days. This years event however will take place for 12 days between the 12th and 23rd August. It will be held at the famous Galaxy Star World Hotel and will attract thousands of poker players and fans.
2008's competition was very successful and the annual tour will be now be named a Poker Festival.
Chris Parker, Chief Executive Officer for the Asian Poker Tour said in a statement, “The Asian Poker Tour Macau Festival will feature a side event schedule never seen in Asia before including several new formats that will stir the curiosity of poker enthusiasts at all levels.”
“We believe Asia’s first festival of poker will establish Macau as an essential stop on the international poker circuit.”
Included in the event will be a $129,000 game for high rollers.
