Bet 365 in top 100 private companies

Bet 365 was announced as the 16th top UK private company in the Sundays Times this week. The respected paper's top 100 table of UK private companies, included the online bookie, Bet 365 , and demonstrated the success which can be made from online betting. The Stoke-on-Trent based, company made a profit of £36 million and rose 16 places from last year, moving from 32th to 16th place this year.
The private companies impressive growth began when they moved online in 1999. In 2005 they sold their remaining 59 street stores to Coral Eurobet to focus on the ever increasing demand for online betting.
Now the Coates family company is one of the leading online bookies, providing their customers with a huge variety of events to bet on, poker tournaments to play in and casino and bingo games to enter. With over 1.5 million customers in 140 different countries the company is a true global force within the online gaming industry.
Founder and owner Peter Coates also owns, newly promoted Premier League side, Stoke City F.C and will be looking to repeat the business success he has had with bet 365, by establishing his football club amongst the elite of English football.
