Bet365 Topples Betfair!

Cheltenham Festival saw Bet365 topple Betfair from the top spot of the Oddschecker top 10 according to an article on eGaming review
Data from the site also saw online bookmaker Victor Chandler re entering the group for the first time since July 2009. They knocked sky bet, betfred and coral down a place after a successful marketing campaign and knocked Sportingbet off the list altogether.
Oddschecker commercial manager Simon Miller said: “The big news is that Bet365 toppled Betfair. The Cheltenham Festival was obviously the stand out event during March and Bet365 dominated during the four days, their incredibly competitive odds and place terms seeing them comfortably trump their competitors.
“The other big mover in March was Victor Chandler, whose ‘Victor Price Pledge’ saw them match several of their big competitors on best price, driving plenty of betting during Cheltenham.”
Bet365’s traffic figures have risen by 1.5 percentage points in March, which is 1.7 percentage points above Betfair.
These figures break the deadlock in the Oddschecker top10 which was seen in February as they were closer than ever before. Victor Chandler was only in the table for two months of last year.
