Bingo Hall gets attacked by Armed Robbers

Usually when customers go to a bingo hall for some fun, the last thing on they’re thinking about is being robbed during a session. However that is exactly what happened to players in a Cashcade Bingo Hall in Northern Ireland.

Shock and fear hit the small bingo community, when three armed robbers stole cash and handbags from players and staff in the hall.

According to BBC News, the men were armed with hammers and knives, and entered the bingo hall on Old Portadown Road in Lurgan last night.

It is understood that players were enjoying a session of bingo before the group of men burst in and ordered everyone to hand over their money.

Unfortunately the men managed to flee the scene with an unknown sum of money and four handbags belonging to members of staff and some of the bingo players.

The incident occurred at around 8.25pm and police are urging anyone that may have some information or seen a dark saloon car leaving Riverside Road or Gilpinstown Road around 8.30pm to come forward.

The men were described as one wearing dark gloves and being heavily built, the second wearing dark clothes, and the third wearing a Balaclava.
