Bookies Odds on The Britsh and Irish Lions Final Test

Rugby fans across the world tuned in to watch the second British and Irish Lions test match last week, and after an epic battle seeing both teams riddled with injuries, South Africa emerged victorious.

Now with the series win, the Springboks are set to win the series 3-0 and whitewash the tourists, who have not won a test match since their 2001 tour of Australia.

This Saturday the Lions head to Ellis Park, Johannesburg for the final test. With the series out of their reach the Lions will now be playing for pride. However with key players like Brian O’Driscoll, Gethin Jenkins, Adam Jones out injured and question marks over Jamie Roberts, it is not surprising many fans believe South Africa will make it 3 out of 3.

Online bookies follow the trend and price the Lions at 11/4 underdogs to win the final test, while the Springboks are priced at 2/9 favourites.

Today Head Lions Coach Ian McGeechan announces the squad to play South Africa in two days time, and is expected to name either Keith Earls or James Hook to replace the injured Brian O’Driscoll.
