Boxing: Haye vs. Klitschko Online Betting Odds
23rd July, 2009

British Heavyweight hope, David Haye, is on the brink of securing a fight with WBC Heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko. The bout is thought to be scheduled for Frankfurt, Germany, on September 12.
Haye thought he had missed out on the opportunity to challenge for the title, after two fights against both Vitali and his brother Wladimir fell through earlier this year. The fight with Vitali collapsed due to boxing politics and the match with his sibling was cancelled after Haye sustained a back injury during training, just two weeks before the fight.
The Bermondsey bomber is desperate to emulate ring legend Evander Holyfield, by capturing both the undisputed heavyweight and cruiserweight championships of the world. The confident Haye, believes that both of the Klitschko’s are slow overrated fighters, who hand pick their fights in order to make themselves look good.
During the past year, Haye has caused quite a lot of controversy when it comes to the Klitschko brothers. On the press tour for the fight with Wladimir, Haye repeatedly taunted both fighters and arrived at one press conference sporting a t-shirt showing the ‘Hayemaker’ holding up the detached heads of his rivals. However, the 6ft 8inch Ukrainian has promised to destroy those plans and knock Haye out. In response, Klitschko said, "He’s insulted the Klitschko family and now he finally gets his punishment,"
From a tactical perspective, Haye will need to utilise his superior speed and apply good lateral head movement in order to avoid Klitschko’s accurate jab and fearsome overhand right.
Both Bluesq and Coral have Haye to win at 11/4 and Klitschko 1/4.
