Britain's Got Talent result good news for Bookies

Susan Boyle has shot to fame in recent weeks after first appearing in this years Britain's Got Talent TV show. Online bookies took a huge numbers of bets for the final which took place on Saturday evening with over 18 million tuning in to watch the performances.
Boyle, who has been a hit in the US, was the bookies hot favorite going into the show, but it was dance act 'Diversity' who won the most votes after an exhilarating performance.
Millions placed bets on Susan Boyle to win, after receiving so much press coverage. However 'Diversity' stole the show late on. Paul Muddle bet on Susan Boyle quickly after he first saw her on the show in the early rounds.
"I'm pretty annoyed with the result. I think a lot of people didn't bother betting as they thought that she would win easily. The odds I got were pretty decent compared to those priced by bookies after all the press coverage."
Muddle went onto add, "I think I will wait until the final before placing any money and the competition this year was excellent."
