Bwin, one of the largest international E-Gaming groups in the world, with a successful betting sector, Bwin are beginning to take interest in the related sectors such as casino and poker.
With a powerful reputation within the international industry, Bwin are interested in acquiring Cioco Digitale, the Italian E-Gaming operator already operating an online casino and online betting service.
Bwin is keen to enter Italy with their eyes set on the high revenue potential of the Italian Gaming Market. They hope that with their unique portfolio of games and experience, they can enter the market with a large share right off the mark.
Bwin recently purchased 10% of Gioco Digitale this month, and has now formerly announced that it is up for fully acquiring the Cioco Digitale brand name. This deal would further reinforce Bwins international presence, as well as introduce a brand new range of games to the Italian EGaming market.
Apparently Cioco Digitale is valued at around $143 Million, a lot higher than some industry experts expected, as 10% of the company was bought for only $3 Million. The deal is speculated to be complete by the end of this year.
