Cancer survivor wins 2.5million lotto

Nicky Cusack, a mum of four who has been battling breast cancer for the past year has hit the jackpot days after doctors told her she would be able to look forward to having her life back once again.

The £2.5 million lotto win came at a perfect time giving Nicky and her family hope and help to get her life back on track.

Nicky explained “It has been the worst year of my life”. The single mum has undergone 2 operations to remove the cancer and on top of all these worries, was attacked by six dogs while protecting her children from the aggressive pack in January.

Nicky held a party for her Dad’s 70th birthday, where everyone was also celebrating the good news of Nicky’s new lease of life. However, this was not the only good news, Nicky was able to break the news of the lotto win to her family. Her dad and family wishes that this win brings Nicky the happiness she deserves so much.

Despite her life changing news over the past couple of days Nicky loves her job and cannot wait to get back to work in her local Asda in Swindon!
