European and Asian countries are increasingly seeking opportunities to maximize their national income by applying legal frameworks regarding legislation towards online gambling.

For example, one of the latest countries legalizing the industry is France who will allow non domestic online gaming providers to operate if there are business to business agreements already established with offline casinos. Whilst other countries such as Italy ask companies to hold a national gambling license to operate within its borders.

Online gambling operators, software and processing providers are closely following the manual of instructions in order to create long term relationships and abide by each country’s laws. Recent examples of this include PartyGaming in France and Ladbrokes in Italy.

However, China is going all in after its recent war with Google and has said that they will have no interference with their domestic online casino industry even though online gambling is allowed in certain areas of the country alongside land based casinos.

This is a blow to many well known, trustworthy and respected operators who have approached the Chinese government in order to begin legitimate operations in the country due to the population’s rising levels of domestic income. All they have received is a solid denial from the officials to even talk about the potential entry into the market.

Since China’s financial incline, the country has managed to become a monopolistic online community by blocking many websites including giants like Google meaning that more and more operations are being forced out of the country.
