Daily TV Casino to be launched with NetPlay

The UK’s Channel ‘Five’ has announced that it has signed a five year deal with ‘NetPlay TV’ to broadcast a daily live casino show.
Supercasino.com is to be the live interactive TV show, and is set to air firstly from 12 Midnight until 4 AM on Friday, and the same on Saturday & Sunday.
This is set to start on the 17th of September 2009 and is due to be extended to 6 nights a week by October, and seven nights by January 2010.
This makes Channel Five the first Terrestrial TV channel to take advantage of OFCOM’s new licensing rules, classing Gambling under Teleshopping, allowing up to 6 hours of broadcasting in a 24 hour period.
The deal has been made possible from a previous deal between software developer Playtech and Channel Five in July allowing for the NetPlay Tv software to cope with the additional traffic.
