Derren Brown Takes On The Casino

Tonight is the last show in Derren Brown’s latest series “The events” which has seen him predict the national lottery numbers and control the nation. In this episode the mindbender is set to take down a casino by predicting the course of a roulette wheel and winning a member of the public a life changing £175,000. In fairness it’s a huge claim, but so far the series hasn’t been too short on these!
Derren Brown has previously seen fantastic form in the gambling world, for example in his Mind Control series a few years ago he revealed how to count cards in blackjack which won himself a substantial amount of money and a subsequent ongoing ban from most casinos!
In addition to this in his show, “The System” he provided a viewer winning tips on six consecutive horse races. However, in a twist he revealed he originally used 7,000 participants and whittled down the losers until just one remained.
The series has encouraged lots of healthy discussion and debate about the gambling industry and has encouraged many to try and ‘beat’ the casino. There’s only one way to find out, watch Derren Brown tonight on C4 at 9pm and get playing at the online tables to see if your luck is in!
