Developers Rush To Make Online Gambling Apps For iPad

The apple iPad is hitting stores on the 3rd April meaning that online gambling developers are rushing to finish off their apps in time for the launch.

The iPad will support many of the applications as the iPhone as in essence the new tablet computers are simply a larger version of the iPhone. However, if this is the case why are online gambling developers keen to create new ones just for the iPad? The tablet computers have a lot of potential as they will provide a more comfortable and realistic experience as they don’t strain your eyes as much as the smaller screen on the iPhone and is more portable than the majority of laptops.

The most exciting thing is the greater potential for more interactive online casino games. For example players could push the buttons on slot machines and rub the screen when playing scratch cards. The new format could allow players to interact in the same ways as they would an ordinary casino and a more user friendly gaming experience

It seems that there are endless opportunities for more innovative and interactive games like we have never seen, meaning that they could entice new players who have wanted a more realistic gaming experience whilst at home.

The only downside to the iPad tablets is that they run the apple operating system so users will be unable to use download only casinos and so will have to use browser based versions only. Although of course if this way of playing becomes very popular, many online casinos may be forced to create downloadable Mac friendly versions of their games.

Even if online gambling on the iPad doesn’t take off, the growth of Mac users is so high that operators have had to improve their browser based games selection and with the available apps there should be a huge array of games to keep players happy.
