Hard Rock Hotel and Caesars Palace pursue lawsuit against the deceased Mr Ryan

According to reports in Las Vegas, both the Hard Rock Hotel and Caesars Palace are pursuing lawsuits against a man who recently died.

The man in question is Mr Ryan Clark who died in September 2008. It is claimed that Mr Clark died owning the casinos $715,000.

According to the solicitors representing the two casinos, in Caesars Palace, Mr Clark had used a series of “bad cheques” to pay off $565,000 of debt and in the Hard Rock Hotel, he failed to settle his debt of $150,000.

After hearing about his death, both casinos directed their lawsuits against the benefactors of Mr Ryan’s estate, “Because Clark and subsequently the estate have failed to repay the value for this benefit, they have unjustly enriched”.

In a recent statement, both casinos said that they not only wanted the outstanding sum of $715,000, but also to be compensated for damages and legal fees.
