French minister to discuss online betting restrictions

Jean-Pierre Jouyet, The French minister for European affairs, confirmed he had met with EU internal markets commissioner Charlie McCreevy on the subject of resolving the EU's legal proceedings over France's online sports betting restrictions. The MP said that he expected to reach some form of new resolution by March. "What is important is agreeing a good solution in a reasonable timeframe," he added.
