Gala Bingo makes birthday wish come true

A mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Muriel Walton, is an avid bingo player who just celebrated her 100th birthday and was given quite a generous present from the people at Gala Bingo, which operates both online and land based bingo halls.
The popular bingo operator, Gala Bingo, gave Muriel 100 days of free bingo for her birthday, one day for each year. Muriel was really happy about the whole deal, but most of all she enjoyed having her family all come together to celebrate her birthday.
“It was really nice for everyone to go to so much effort, it was great,” Muriel said. “I had a party on Saturday too an it was the first time in 12 years that all my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were in the same room together. It was absolutely brilliant. I don’t know what the key to making 100 is, you’ll have to ask the man upstairs, but I guess being active as often as I can has helped.”
Muriel made it clear that she has always loved getting out and doing things instead of staying in and says that it is probably one of the reasons she has stayed in such good health over the years.
“I hate staying indoors,” Muriel said. “Up until I broke my leg a few years ago I would get on the bus to Brent Cross, go out for something to eat – anything to get out.”
Although the 100 year old woman was delighted about the 100 days of free bingo given by Gala Bingo, she said that she would have rather been given a cheque, which is just an example of the feistiness in the birthday woman.
