Google TV To Revolutionise Online Gambling

With current technology online gamblers have to use their computers to access casinos. However this won’t be the case for much longer as Google has announced their innovative new Google TV offering which is set to come to television sets across the world by the end of the year.
A feature of Google TV is an on screen search box which will allow viewers to search for their favourite shows or other web based content. Google TV is being pitched as a way to make TV viewing easier which means that surfing and gambling on a big screen high definition TVs across the world.
Sony has partnered with Google for the project and hope the TV sets will be ready by autumn.
Adding Google TV to televisions will generate huge advertising possibilities as advertising is the biggest source of revenue for the company. Google has only recently started accepting online casino adverts in their search engine and with TV access now to become available online gambling sites are drooling at the prospects of reaching their target audiences in this way.
Gambling through the TV is already available in the UK with Netplay TV; however the new Google TV will change the future of online gambling opening it up to millions of more players.
At Google’s development conference in San Francisco last week spokesmen for the company marveled at the idea. This is because players will be able to gamble both in comfort and with ease of access whilst sitting on their sofa and playing on a big screen.
