Is Nadal fit for Wimbledon?
18th June, 2009

Rafael Nadal, last year’s Wimbledon champion, is to play two exhibition matches against Lleyton Hewitt and Stanislas Wawrinka. The matches are to take place on Thursday and Friday of this week at Hurlingham Club in London.
Nadal pulled out of the Wimbledon warm up tournament, Queens, last week due to a knee injury and has been receiving treatment. These exhibition matches will be a test as to whether or not the Spanish star will be fit enough to defend his title.
Roger Federer is now favourite to win, after matching Pete Sampras’ record of winning 14 majors titles in Paris, defeating Soderling.
Latest odds for the LTA tournament are currently coming in from expekt at 23/20 for Federer and 5/1 for Nadal to win the men’s singles title. Wimbledon starts Monday.
