Ladbrokes, the company that owns Ladbrokes Bingo, Ladbrokes Casino, Ladbrokes Pokerand Ladbrokes Sportsbetting site, has been announced to add Madrid license to their collection, meaning that they are now allowed to operate in Spain’s Madrid region.
Gambling market in Spain represents a lot of potential for European operators, which is why getting in there early enough can build a solid ground for a stable future success and positioning.
Ladbrokes has already voiced the plans to open 70 outlets in Madrid’s region. This comes less than a year after Ladbrokes and Cirsa Slot created a joint venture, which the both companies invested 30 million into. The venture is said to employ 150 people in more than 150 betting points.
The core business will be the sports betting, which is going to include soccer, golf, tennis, basketball and flat racing as well as many other ones.
Ladbrokes online gambling plans are not clear yet, but there are reasons to suspect that online bingo is going to be capitalized in Spanish online gambling market.
Both companies released a statement earlier saying that they expect to get around 80 million Euros turnover for the first year.
