Ladbrokes identified as world leader in sustainability

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes has named Ladbrokes as a world leader in sustainability.
The DJSI itself is based upon the yearly global SAM analysis of economic, environmental and social performances and has ranked Ladbrokes as a leading gambling organization in terms of sustainability, one of only two gambling companies to be placed within this index.
The index features 317 companies across the globe, assessing issues such as corporate governance, risk management, branding, green issues, supply chain & labour statuses. It looks to gauge industry specific sustainability criteria as well as general criteria for each of the 58 sectors defined according to the ICB - Industry Classification Benchmark.
The reason for Ladbrokes success in this ranking is due to its human resources practices, eco-efficiency, anti money laundering and crime prevention policies.
