According to an article at iGaming Business Online and land based gambling giant Ladbrokes have launched their brand new online bookies website and have plans to stream over 30,000 live sports events through it over the course of 2010.

Ladbrokes, based in Harrow have stated that they have invested over three million pounds in order to secure internet broadcasting rights for a selection of sports that will be free to watch for all registered customers at Ladbrokes.com (with exception to horseracing).

The brand new site features a heavy focus on ‘in-play’ betting allowing players to place live bets through their dedicated module on the new sites homepage broadcasting current betting events with easy access to the Ladbrokes TV live streaming service. In order for customers to access the horseracing broadcast, they must place a minimum bet of £1.

Ladbrokes have confirmed that they will be able to cover top flight football from eleven nations including Italy, Portugal and Brazil with additional games from the FA Cup matches, UEFA and international football games. There’s not just coverage of football, the coverage will extend to tennis, cricket, snooker, darts, volleyball and pool.

Managing Director for Remote Betting and Gaming for Ladbrokes commented saying ‘The new site further reflects the growing importance of betting in-play and live video streaming content’.
