Both the Encore and another Wynn casino intend to hold galas as part of the celebrations, starting with a birthday party for the 67 year old owner Steven Wynn, and climaxing with Super Bowl this coming weekend.

Bruce Anderson, Encore’s director of horticulture design, said, “Our Asian customers are very important and they appreciate the touches, but we wanted to show off the existing design. Having a huge dragon up there would just be gilding the lily.”
