nesson formed the Global Poker Strategic Thinking Society with the aim to get poker recognised as a skill game, similar to Backgammon. he believes that the game of poker is an ideal way into researching and learning how people think and wants to use it as an educational tool. "It's a great way to learn and practice the skills of seeing what things look like from another person's point of view" said Nesson. Seminars are planned for students to learn the academics of poker
He is insensed that a charity poker tournament in Massachusetts was cancelled at the last minute because the organisers did not know they needed a permit. He wants the law changed so that limits on such small tournaments are lifted. He is also lobbying Congreee to overturn the UIEGA law that was passed last year, which banned online gaming.
Nesson is a force to be reckoned with, he successfully helped parents sue chemical companies - a case that was turned into a Hollywood Film, A Civil Action. He wont go down without a fight!!
