Lucky Winner's Disbelief

A 70-year old who became a winner of the £30,000 jackpot on the Afternoon Delight Game at Mecca Bingo Club, was so surprised by her win that she told the club manager “not to be silly”.
National Bingo reported that it wasn’t only her who did not believe the big win; her husband was also sceptical, as he earlier admitted to not expecting his woman to win anything over £5.
Here is what the lady told the National Bingo: "I didn't believe it when they told me how much I had won. I was on my way out when the manager told me I'd got the national prize but I told him not to be silly."
Everyone at Mecca Bingo club in Taunton seemed very happy for the lady, who managed to get the full house in 40 calls.
“Everybody seemed very happy and excited”, the lucky winner told the National Bingo. “I heard people screaming my name and celebrating my big win, it was very nice of them, really,” she added.
