Macao to see huge increase in tourism

The increase to approximately 560,000 visitors is limited to just Malaysians. Other nationalities will be visiting the island at a normal pace.
The first 11 months of 2007 saw visits to Macao increase by over 975 onlast year, with over 4 million people arriving to the city to, ultimately gamble.
Not only does Macao have a booming gaming industry, but it is also rich in culture with Chinese and Portugeuse making up a vast proportion of the population.
The tourism economy is really booming as well and to get ready for the new industry, the tourism board have set up Amigos Macao in preparation.
