Machete Wielding Robbers At Ladbrokes

Two machete wielding robbers stole an undisclosed amount of money from a Ladbrokes shop in Done Bookmakers in Lane Head, Ryton, Gateshead last night. They got away with an undisclosed amount of money, after bursting into the shop where terried staff and punters could not do anything.
“Two female members of staff and three customers were in the shop at the time of the raid. The men were wearing black balaclavas and had machetes.
“They demanded money and left.
“It would have been very frightening for the staff and the customers but no-one was injured.
“We do not yet know how much they escaped with."
The raid comes after a number of robberies performed on bookmakers across the region in the past six months. Not far away on Decemeber 22nd, a knifeman wearing a skeleton mask help up anpther Ladbrokes shop, also escaping with cash.
