Major Online Gaming Verticals close gap on Poker

Leading promotional merchandise and loyalty reward programmes for the gaming industry provider, Initial Poker, announced yesterday the changing of its name to Initial Rewards Limited, effective immediately.

Founded last year by Lee and Jon Reuben, brand devotional experts, Initial Rewards revealed that it had seen its most profitable quarter so far, with more than 10,000 customers redeeming various products from loyalty points they had earned. The company provides more than 20 operators with loyalty programmes including, Paradise Poker and Betfair.

Items supplied are unique to each firm and include everything from custom-made branded goods such as clothing to more exclusive items such as Cartier watches and holidays.

Initial Reward’s decision to rebrand and change its name from Initial Poker is said to be to reflect its move away from being a poker only supplier of merchandise and loyalty programmes to encompass all the major online gaming verticals, casino, bingo and sports betting.

Even though it has been the game of poker that has been the main driving force of online gaming since 2002. Initial Reward’s move illuminates the shift in public demands towards casino, bingo and sports betting over the past few years.

Lee Reuben, one of Initial Rewards founders stated, “we’ve seen such success in the last year with operators seeing the benefit of our loyalty platforms that it was no longer relevant to operate under a poker-related title.” He also said that, “The remote gambling industry is expanding at an incredible speed and we wanted to be at the forefront of our market from the outset.”
