BiMecca bingo Hall holds silent protest

After the bingo protest in London had very little impact on the governments decision to lower income taxes, Mecca Bingo in Sheffield have decided to hold their won silent protest encouraging others to do the same to continue to raise awareness of the outrage of the government heavy taxation.

Local bingo players will have to ditch the loud familiar sounds of the caller that usually fill a bingo hall and play silently in hope of making an impact. As usual there will be the screen that is normally above where the caller is situated for players to check their numbers if they missed the calling, but this time this is all the players have to mark off their numbers.

Sarah Whittaker, general manager of the halls explained that, "Nearly 600 letters have been sent to MP Richard Caborn but the response is as if they were sent to the bin!"

The prize money is £50 and the games are held tomorrow at 12.30pm and 7.30pm in an attempt to bring back together a community that the government is trying so hard to break up.
