Mikey from Big Brother 9 plays bingo!

Mikey, the 33 year old from Ayrshire was runner up to fellow contestant Rachel in Big Brother 9, missing out on being crowned the winner by 1.3% of the votes, attended his local school to play bingo with the students. The event was organized by three local accounting students to help raise money for Ayshire Cancer Care Foundation.
Mikey, who was born with Stickler’s syndrome grew up partially sighted and following a haemorrhaged during an operation when he was 23 years old became completely blind. Mikey hosted the bingo event in aid of the chosen charity and spent the day chatting to students, calling out the bingo ball numbers and ended the successful afternoon by posing for pictures.
“All in all it was a very successful event and we were delighted with the amount of money raised for North Ayrshire Cancer Care, which is run entirely by volunteers and provides amazing service to cancer patients and their families.”
