Mob boss charged in illegal Betting Ring

Anthony Nicodemo has pleased guilty to being involved in a illegal sports betting ring which operated in the Borgata Hotel & Spa in Atlantic city. Nicodemo is a well known figure in a Philadelphia mob gang and faces a up to three years in prison.
The 36 year old was described as a solider in the crime family headed by Joseph Ligambi. The betting ring was alleged to be worth around $60 million and overall 22 people are facing charges.
"Operation High roller" was the name for the case which aimed to bust the illegal betting activities and it proved to be extremely successful. Nicodemo was also believed to be a suspect in the murder of John "Johnny Gongs" Casasanto in 2003.
Illegal sports betting rings are popular in the US and are often worth millions. It's usually a good idea to stick to well known a trusted betting brands to ensure the bets you place are legal and legitimate.
