Mob man indicted for online gambling

Vincent Filipelli has been held at the Philadelphia penitentary while he awaits sentencing for extrotion. He has just been indicted on related charges realting to his running of an internet based gambling operation and the stats of waepons and drugs they found at his home in Cherry Hill.
he was caught when he travelled from his home in new Jersey to Philadelphia where he had arranged to meet a man who he believed owed him money. During this meeting which was in fact a sting operation involving an undercover State Trooper, Filipelli was arrested. He had met with teh same trooper on 6 previous occassions and admitted strong arming the trooper by threatening to hospitalise him if he didnt pay his debt.
Filippi pled guilty and faces 20 years in federal prison.
