More Gala bingo job losses announced

The Gala Coral group announced 45 more job losses yesterday from its headquarters. The move is reported to allow streamlining and the integration of online and land based marketing operations.
The announcement was another blow to gala who, earlier this week, announced 300 other job cuts and more bingo halls closing their doors for good.
The full extent of the effects of the redundancies hasn’t yet been felt however they’ll show through within the next few weeks.
The reasons behind the job losses include a bid to save over £10m worth of bureaucracy as the company is known to be in huge sums of debt. The debts have reportedly reached the colossal amount of £2.5Billion
The online side of the business will run as normal while the redundancies and integrations takes place.
