Murray's welsh winner

Welshman, Mike Griffiths from Denbighshire, spotted Andy Murray’s talent FIVE YEARS AGO and backed him to win Wimbledon before 2010 and it looks like he could be on to a winner!

The tennis fan got odds in at 200/1 to win the annual lawn tennis tournament and will receive a fantastic £12,000 from his original £60 bet.

'Mr Griffiths was smart enough to spot Andy's ability several years ago, in August 2004, so the £60 he bet on him at 200/1 to win Wimbledon and the £40 at 100/1 to win any Grand Slam look like giving him a £16,000 payout sooner rather than later' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

He was quoted 50/1 for Murray to ever win Wimbledon- not Andy’s own mother backed him with odds that good!

Bookies are set to make some hefty payouts if the Scottish star does win the tournament. Go Murray!
