Obama to legalize online gambling in the U.S?

The long awaited inauguration of Barack Obama will take place tomorrow afternoon and the US online gaming industry is hoping that he could legalize regulated internet gambling to boost the economey.

The economey is the most important issue for the new President, who will be looking for ways to reinvigorate businesses and generate revenue. After being highlighted the potential market revenues generated by online gambling it's believed Mr Obama could well legalize and regulated internet gambling industry.

The excitement building up to tomorrows inauguration is felt by millions around the world and billions will be watching the event unfold.

2 million are expected to descend on Washington to get a glimpse of the man who they believe is capable of bringing change to the US. Other policies Obama is expected to bringing include, full troop withdrawal from Iraq and the closing of Guantanamo Bay Prison.

If online gaming was legalized in the US it would undoubtedly create thousands of new jobs and could kick start an economey currently on its knees.

Currently citizens are not allowed to make financial transactions online depositing money to gambling firms. This however could all change in the coming months after Obama's inauguration tomorrow.
