Offline OK but online not?

Barney Frank, a Representative is trying to pass his own IGREA Bill has criticised the Governor for "making a big mistake" and questions why it is OK to build offline casinos but "gambling on the internet is not (OK)."

Davis Schwartz is the Director of the Center of Gaming Research in Nevada thinks he knows the answer. He believes that Governor Patrick is trying to make more money from the potential offline casinos by banning any competition - competition which would take the form of online gaming. He suggested that cynics would see that they were trying to set up a monopoly.
