Online Bingo site JackpotCity.com raises £10,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust
3rd March, 2009

Online bingo site Jackpot City has raised £10,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust which dedicates itself to the study and treatment of the genetic condition.
Cystic Fibrosis is a hereditary condition that affects the mucus glands in the lungs, liver, pancreas and intestines, causing disability and multisystem failure.
To raise the money, Jackpot City Bingo ran (and still is running) a series of charity games in which 100% of the proceeds were dedicated to the Trust.
The charity was not the only one to benefit from these games. Jackpot City players had the chance of winning £10 a day or £200 a week. The player to purchase the 100,000th Bingo Charity game ticket also won £300.
