Online Bingo sites opt for TV advertising

Online Bingo operators are increasingly using TV advertisements with the aim of attracting new players to their sites.

It's estimated that around 3 million people in the UK play online bingo every year and this figure is expected to grow in 2009. The number of operators offering the services of online gaming has therefore also rapidly grown in recent years.

Names such as Foxy, Gala and Wink Bingo are all household names due to their TV campaigns.

Wink currently sponsor entertainment show Family Fortunes and this has resulted in a marked increase in sign up's. Foxy Bingo spent a large amount of their marketing budget on TV adverts last year as have new operator Tombola Bingo.

TV advertising reaches a massive audience however cannot be tracked and recorded. Many new smaller sites begin implementing online affiliate advertisements, however more bingo sites are seeing the benefits of promoting their sites between popular TV shows.

Gala Bingo also famously used Sharon Osbourne in past TV advertisements and have recently released a new commercial promoting their new £20 free sign up bonus.
