Online Bookie Odds on Monaco Grand Prix

The sixth race of this year’s Formula One Championships takes place in Monte Carlo this weekend, and will see Britain’s Jenson Button fight for his third straight victory and fifth overall.

Bookmakers make Button favourite to win on Sunday. This comes as no surprise, with overtaking on the Monaco circuit extremely difficult and Button clocking some of the fastest times this season. The likelihood of his Brawn GP car being beaten to pole position is very slim.

Sky Bet are so sure of Brawn GP being the fastest cars on the circuit that they have even opened a Brawn GP 1-2 market, giving 10/1 odds that it will be a Button from Barrichello finish.

Bookies have shortened odds on Ferrari this week, after news of them adding new parts for performance. Felipe Massa also stated this week that “Ferrari will be on the podium in Monaco”, Sky Bet has also made Massa 5/2 to finish with the top three while his Ferrari partner Kimi Raikkonen is 11/4.

Unfortunately for Raikkonen, with the likes of Red Bulls’ Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber also racing well, the chances of a Ferrari win is not that high. Sky Bet reflects this by making Raikkonen 8/11 odds on, not to win at all this season.
