Online Bookies Shorten Odds on Susan Boyle

Britain’s Got Talent reached the second round of the competition on Sunday, and millions of viewers around the world tuned in to watch and vote for their favourite acts.

Not surprisingly, the overwhelming favourite Susan Boyle was most anticipated, and despite an early wobble, she wowed the audience securing her place in the semi finals.

Also making it through with Miss Boyle was dancing act Flawless, who secured the second highest public vote.

Having received so many public votes and more praise from the judges, it looks like the chances of Miss Boyle winning BGT 2009 are growing. Some online bookies showed this by shortening their odds on her winning even further.

Both Bet 365 and Paddy Power make Susan 8/15 to win the show while Sky Bet makes her 1/2.

Blue Square make Susan Boyle 8/11 while second favourite at BS is 12year old Aiden Davies from Birmingham at 5/1.

Bookies priced young Aiden at 5/1 ahead of Flawless at 7/1, after he shocked judges and audiences at his audition, earning him the status of “super super super talented” from Simon Cowell.
