Online Bookies can sleep easy after Manchester United Lose

Online bookmaker Skybet will be relieved to see Manchester United out of the FA Cup this week. United had the chance of making it an unprecedented 5 trophies this season, and many bookmakers thought they would be forced to payout big this summer.

Many punters firmly believed Sir Alex’s team would cruise to each of the 5 titles and therefore placed early bets on this outcome when odds were high.

However, after losing yesterday to Everton in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley the Premier League champions are now unable to win the domestic treble or the quintuple.

Online bookies, including SkyBet, last week began shortening odds on Manchester United winning five trophies to 11/2 in an effort to stem the amount of bets mounting against them.

In spite of this, the loss now means that SkyBet will not pay out on any quintuple, domestic treble, or FA Cup double bets for Manchester United.

United fans will be hoping the reds can still win four trophies, with their side still in the semi finals of the Champions League and top of the Premier League table.

The FA Cup final will now see Chelsea take on Everton at Wembley on the 20 May.

Sky Bet make Chelsea favourite to take the title at 4/9, while Everton are 13/8 underdogs to take the title.
