Online Casino Shuts-Down

Zosoz.com the alleged US-legal poker tournament site has shut down. The American online poker site was launched just under 2 months ago and has already shutdown after claims the cheques it was sending to winners bounced.

The site first went live at the end of October and was reportedly owned by a private firm based in Minnesota. Charging a subscription of $19.99 it stated players had the potential to win part of the $3.5million annual sweepstakes prizes.

Tim Belisle was quoted at the launch as saying, “What makes Zosoz.com different from other online poker clubs is that we give away the most online poker tournament sweepstakes prizes, daily $1,000 tournaments, weekly $10,000 tournaments, monthly $100,000 tournaments and a yearly one million dollar tournament.”

A statement was issued and placed on the site, stating to closure of the site and that it had ceased all operations, the closure was accordingly due to “circumstances beyond our control”

Zosoz.com also stated that “all subscription membership fees have been refunded in full”. And “we would like to thank you for your participation in Zosoz.com over the past two months and apologise for any inconvenience this causes you.”
