Online Casino launches New TV Advert.
22nd April, 2009
A new TV advert released by online gambling operator Ladbrokes was launched yesterday. The operator best known for its sports book operations, unveiled its new online casino advert this week.
For their most recent campaign, Ladbrokes has opted for a more light hearted ad showing a man hiding from a giant lemur.
Suggesting Ladbrokes had learnt from some of its more ‘tongue in cheek’ ads being either frowned upon or banned by the ASA, their new advert shows a giant Sifaka Lemur playing the children’s game ‘hide and seek’ with residents in a city.
The advert starts with the lead character desperately trying to find a hiding place, before the Lemur shouts “98 99 100, coming ready or not”, only to find him hiding in a dustbin.
The advert, shot in a hand held camera style, was directed by Scott Lyon under the management of leading advertising agency M&C Saatchi.
LadbrokesCasino.com’s head of marketing, Charlie Goodenough, said, "It's great to be back on air with another innovative creative. We're really pleased with it and being so left field, we believe it will allow us to really differentiate ourselves and stand out in the online casino market."
As part of the launch, Ladbrokes are also offering all new players a £25 sign up bonus, no deposit required.
