Online Gambling news no longer to be published by PR Web

PR web is one of the worlds leading internet press release platforms, and work closely with thousands of businesses. Online Press Releases have become and integral part of several brands marketing activities, allowing them to publish company news and cooperate information to both customers and other industry members.
The online gambling industry is one sector which regularly use internet press releases to communicate to their customers and wide range of stakeholders. PR web however have now banned gaming businesses to publish their stories.
Based in Washington, PR web decided to ban online gaming related articles partly due to the current uncertain legislation surronding gambling in the US.
A statement said, “Moving forward, PRWeb will no longer be publishing releases that promote or link to online gambling or related websites.
"This shift in editorial has been prompted by legal considerations and brings us in line with the stance that other notable organizations such as Google and Yahoo are currently taking with regard to promotion of online gambling in the U.S.”
